Busy on a Saturday night, it's nevertheless a great place to get a bite after a day up Ben Nevis. Casual and open, you seat yourself and order on your mobile, never really having an interaction with staff other than when the food arrives. There is a small discount on beer with food, and the selection of both is wide. Quorn sausage was delicious, as is the fish and chips.
This place was our salvation for having a late dinner. We arrived to town at about 11pm and was the only place with the still the kitchen open. The food was of good quality as expected from the best Wetherspoons.
Some tables were not very clean as they had some dirt from previous costumers but the place is large and we find easily a suitable free table.
Overall a solid experience. I wish they had Wi-Fi for us travelers though - especially since you have to order through your phone (note: you can order in person at the bar)
The QR code didn't work for me, but the app worked perfectly.
They brought my food in under 10 minutes.
Ordered the lunch special of Scampi and mushy peas. It was fantastic!
